Harry Boot is the President of Asia Pacific and Exco member of Tate & Lyle. Tate & Lyle is a global provider of distinctive, high quality food ingredients and solutions for the food, beverage and other industries.

With operations in over 30 locations worldwide, Asia Pacific provides a significant growth opportunity for Tate & Lyle with major markets being China, Japan and the ASEAN region. Prior to joining Tate & Lyle, Harry was Chief Executive of Aqualyng, a global leader in the international desalination market. Before that, he served on the Management Committee of Lonza as Chief Operation Officer, where he was responsible for the Nutrition, Performance Materials and Microbial Control global business units. He was also the Chief Commercial Officer of Bluestar, backed by Blackstone and a producer of specialty chemicals, additives and performance plastics. Harry spent his early career with General Electric, where he held increasingly senior global roles in GE plastics. A Dutch national, he holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
